First Christian Church - Sunday Worship Service
What to expect when you come to the Sunday morning worship service at First Christian.
Expect to worship God with songs old and new.
At 10:30 everyone gathers in the sanctuary for the traditional worship service to sing their favorite old hymns accompanied by organist Warren Crawford.
Expect to learn and be challenged

Sermons at First Christian are based on scripture and always leave listeners with something to work on and think about in the week ahead.
Expect an opportunity to take communion.
First Christian practices weekly, open communion for all believers. God, not the pastor or church, invites you to commune with Him.
| Expect to find ways to serve God.
Here Tanner Johns lights candles as the regular worship service begins at 10:30. Children of the church take turns being acolyte for a month. There are always ways to help with the church service or weekday activities whether you are 9 or 99.
|
Expect to let the children come to Jesus.

Children pile into the front pew for Children's Moment. Every week Pastor Walt Cline preaches a quick sermon with lots of illustrations for the children. There is a nursery provided for children under 5 after Children's Moment.
|
Expect to make friends.
After Worship members enjoy some coffee and cookies in the fellowship hall downstairs. This is a great opportunity to visit with church friends. There are plenty of toys in the basement for children to play with while adults visit.
